The G.D. Government College for Women was
established in 1964 with Arts faculty only
by Lala Ram Richhpal with an objective “
Uttisthata Jagrata Prapya Varan Nibodhata ’’
i.e. to inspire the students to wake up from
the slumber of ignorance and to achieve the
best in life.
The Gauri Devi Government College for Women
is a institution, affiliated to the
University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The college
offers 23 diverse programs at U.G. level in
all the three streams viz, Arts, Science and
Commerce.
